The Eagles Band celebrates 82 years with their annual free Holiday Concert held at the First United Methodist Church, Fenn Street, Pittsfield. The Eagles Trombone Ensemble will warm up the audience beginning at 2:15pm. This event is free and for all ages. Patrons can also enjoy the band’s traditional homemade intermission bake sale, holiday give-a-away, and sing along. The program will include a varied selection of worldly arrangements to celebrate the season including “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”,  “Rhapsody for Hanukkah”,  “A Polar Express Medley”, sing along to  “Auld Lang Syne”,  and it wouldn’t be winter without “Sleigh Ride.” The Eagles Band was founded in 1936 and is the oldest continuing performance ensemble in the Berkshires. Members of the band range in age from 12 to 95 with skill levels of intermediate to expert. For more information on the concert or on joining the band, visit our website at http://www.eaglescommunityband.org.
