Reconciling with the Anthropocene. The Anthropocene is a proposed epoch dating from the commencement of significant human impact on the Earth’s geology and ecosystems, including, but not limited to, anthropogenic climate change. Join us for the viewing of the documentary Anthropocene. A working group of international scientists coined the term and created this film as a platform for discussion regarding the nature of human impacts on the Earth’s ecosystem. In addition to the documentary, there will be a visual display based on the book Uninhabitable Earth: Life after Warming. Held at Bushnell Sage Library in Sheffield.
